Sam Limkeman, Founding Coach.
Sam was born and raised in Vermont and moved to Santa Barbara to attend Westmont College. Sam now works at Dos Pueblos High School as an art teacher and helped establish the Dos Pueblos Girls Lacrosse Program. Sam has played lacrosse since she was eight years old as both a midfielder and an attacker. She has coached for seven years both in Vermont and Santa Barbara. Sam has a heart for girls in sports and hopes to empower the youth of Santa Barbara through lacrosse! |
Jess Delgadillo, Founding Coach.
Jess was born and raised in Santa Barbara where she played lacrosse for Dos Pueblos on the school's first-ever team. She played attack in high school and played one year for UCSB where she is currently attending school. Jess has a love of coaching and has served as a youth girls' coach for Santa Barbara Girls Lacrosse Association and is currently coaching girls lacrosse at Dos Pueblos High School. Jess has a love or lacrosse and a goal of building confidence in our local girls! |
Elayne Blessing.
Elayne grew up in Santa Barbara and has always had a love for sports in general but particularly Lacrosse! Growing up in Santa Barbara did not provide the opportunity to play lacrosse growing up, but Elayne did play boys lacrosse on a LA club team. Elayne attended UCSB on a Basketball scholarship. Elayne is a math teacher at Santa Barbara High School and has been coaching the girls lacrosse team for two years. She has four children and is married to a coach! She is excited to teach local youth and teens to love lacrosse as much as she does! Chloe Chase.
Chloe is a Santa Barbara local, but she is currently attending Azusa Pacific University. She previously played for the first ever Dos Pueblos High School girls lacrosse team and with Mission Lacrosse Club as an attacker. She has also coached for the Santa Barbara Girls' Lacrosse Association and Mission Lacrosse Club. She believes lacrosse is not only a fun sport to play but an amazing opportunity to learn teamwork and the lifelong values of family, friendship, and good sportsmanship. Chloe has loved lacrosse ever since she was a young girl and is thrilled to continue coaching this great sport! |
Renee Mack.
Raised in New Jersey, Renee grew up playing field hockey, ice hockey, and lacrosse. After her college playing career ended, she began coaching all three sports at Portsmouth Abbey School in Rhode Island in 1993. Renee joined Cate School in 2000 and since then has led the girls' lacrosse program to multiple league and division titles, and her program has produced 8 All-Americans and 18 Academic All-Americans. She loves helping girls develop a passion for the game of lacrosse and helping girls become strong women through team athletics. She feels honored to be a part of growing girls lax in the Santa Barbara area. Megan Hedges.
Megan grew up in Thousand Oaks and played lacrosse for Westlake High School, one of Southern California's top girls programs. She was a Girls Lacrosse Scholar Athlete in 2016 and 2017. In the Spring of 2017, Megan was a youth head coach for the Westlake Girls Lacrosse Club. She is currently living in Goleta, attending Santa Barbara City College where she is studying Political Science. Megan loves coaching lacrosse, and is excited to be a part of the Monarch family. |
